BIOGRAPHY
Cubre is a musical project that started in 1998 by five musicians that wanted to create and play music as a form of rejection towards "normal everyday life" of middle man, with the aim to conceive an extreme and original musical form. Being influenced from bands such as Napalm Death, Neurosis, Brutal Truth, Slayer, Turmoil, Sepultura, Rorschach, etc…the band tried to amalgamate, with a hardcore attitude, death/grind riffs, noise and tribal rhythms with melody. Simply, everything that for the band means an uncontrolled adrenaline flow. After having released the selftitled mini LP in 1999 and the full length album, "Our Tangled Soul" in 2001, both published by the italian independent label Vacation House Records of Rudy Medea (vocalist of Indigesti, one of the first italian hardcore band), the band just recorded a new full length album, "Sights Of Unstable Flows" that redefines the sound of the band in a more mature musical expression, extreme but still open to new influences. Cubre wants to avoid any restriction in a predefined musical genre. The new album has been recorded, like the previous ones, at the ALPHA-OMEGA Studios with Alex Azzali, who became in these years more than a sound engineer for the band. Since the last album "Our Tangled Soul" a new singer (Berto) replaced Danilo, who left the band in 2003 for personal issues. This and some health problems of some members have delayed the outcoming of "Sights Of Unstable Flows". The band through these years made many concerts in Italy and in Europe, driven forth by the excellent reviews of the previous album "Our Tangled Soul" and by the growing esteem of the audience. In June 2006 our guitarist Maury left Cubre. Now the band is composed by four members. See you soon on the road!!!
